Magentoのテーマを変更する方法です。
以下、私がやった手順です。
テンプレートを選ぶ
私はよくテンプレートのデパート、template monsterを使うのですが、今回は一番正当な方法で ということで、Magentoの公式HPから探します。
私の好みですが、Widthが全画面になっているほうが好きなので、コチラのテーマを選択。

右下のインストールボタンを押して、extension key を入手します。
テンプレートをインストールします
システム -> Magentoコネクト -> Magentoコネクト管理 へ進みます。
先ほど入手したextension key を入力し、Installをします。
テーマを変更します
システム -> デザイン へ進みます
デフォルトのテーマをクリックします。
※初めての場合はリストに何も表示されていないと思いますので、右上の新規追加ボタンを押してください。
表示された画面のカスタムデザイン項目で追加したテーマを選択します。
これで完了です！
結果
Webサイトをリロードすると新しいサイトになっています。
なぜかこのテーマ変更で大苦戦してしまいました。3時間くらい使ってしまった。。ネットに落ちているテーマ変更の方法では変更されず、いろいろ試していたらできました。何事も粘り強さが大切ですね。っていうか普通の人はもっと簡単にできてしまうんだろうなぁ。 羨ましい。
