MySQLの設定
MySQLにデータベースを作成し、必要なデータを入れていきます。
本サイトではSSHでサーバにログインすることを前提に手順を書いていきます。
ご利用のホスティング会社によって、SSHでのログインを許容していないところがあると思いますので、その場合はphpmyadminが使えると思います。
phpmyadminの使い方はとても簡単です。これからご説明する作業も簡単なものですので、ぜひ内容を読み替えて設定を進めていただければと思います。
まずはデータベースを作成します。わかりやすく"Magento"という名前にします。
mysql> create database magento;
次にユーザーを作ります。
mysql> CREATE USER 'magento_user'@'localhost' IDENTIFIED BY 'magento_pass';
作ったユーザーにmagentoデータベースへの全権を与えます。
mysql> GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON *.magento TO 'magento_user'@'localhost' WITH GRANT OPTION;
サンプルデータをインポート
次に、先にダウンロードしておいたサンプルデータを入れます。
※Magento本体のインストール作業を始める前にサンプルデータのインポートをする必要があるので、この作業を後回しにしないようにしてください！
ダウンロードしたファイル内にある下記のファイルが対象となります。
サーバへのアップロードはFTPツールを使ってください。ちなみに私はFilezillaを使っています。無料です。
下記がMysqlへのインポートコマンドです。
mysql -umagento_user -p magento < magento_sample_data_for_1.6.1.0.sql
下記コマンドでMagentoデータベースにテーブルが作成されていることを確認しましょう。
